An application fee of $25.00 must be paid by cash or money order. Upon receipt of the completed application and payment, a receipt and a two-week temporary Bar Card are issued. 

 

The application is then forwarded for a background check. Once approved, the applicant returns to the Substation in Breaux Bridge for the issuance of a photo i.d. and a two-year Bar Card.
