Chaplain Robert Woods, who has been a Correctional Chaplain for the past 30 years, heads up the current 12 volunteer chaplains of the three Saint Martin Parish Correctional Facilities. Pastoral Services are provided by Chaplain Woods to the prisoners, deputies and to their families upon request.
Baptisms of prisoners have been held at both Corrections I and Corrections II over the past several years. Regular services are held at Corrections I at the Prison Chapel for the inmates of that facility.
They have music and musical instruments at their services.
Services are also held at various times at the other two facilities for the other prisoners by volunteers and also some regular devotional services are held by the inmates themselves. Rosaries, Bibles, Gideon's Bibles, Faith to Faith Magazines, Charles Stanley and Kenneth Copeland Ministries are donators of printed paperback bibles and literature for the Prison Ministry.
