Breaux Bridge High School Student Arrested On Terrorizing Charges

(St. Martinville, LA.)- Yesterday afternoon the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officer at Breaux Bridge High School received a report regarding a threatening text message that was shared amongst a group of Breaux Bridge High School Students.

Following an investigation into the incident, a 16 year old male Breaux Bridge High School Student was arrested this morning and charged as follows:

1-Count LA. R.S. 14:40.1-Terrorizing

Following his arrest, he was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charges. He was subsequently released to the custody of his parent.

Upon completion of the investigation, the St. Martin Parish School Board concurred with the investigation findings and in similar threatening situations will seek prosecution to the full extent of the law.
