BREAUX BRIDGE MAN ARRESTED ON MULTIPLE CHARGES RELATED TO RECENT BURGLARIES;BREAUX BRIDGE FEMALE ARRESTED ON UNRELATED CHARGES

(St. Martinville, LA) –Following an ongoing investigation into recent burglaries and thefts that occurred throughout St. Martin Parish, Investigator’s with St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Kyle Collette, 32, of Breaux Bridge early this morning.

Treva Guidry, 37, who was at the residence at the time of Kyle Collette’s arrest, was arrested on unrelated outstanding charges as listed below.

Kyle Collette was charged as follows:

One count of Home Invasion- LA. R.S. 14:62.8

One count of Simple Burglary- LA. R.S. 14:62

One count of Theft of a Firearm- LA. R.S. 14:67.15

One count of Theft- LA. R.S. 14:67

One count of Criminal Trespassing- LA. R.S. 14:63

One count of Aggravated Assault- LA. R.S. 14:37

One count of Simple Battery- LA. R.S. 14:35

 

Following his arrest, Kyle Collette was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charges and at the time of this release, no bond had been set.

Treva Guidry was charged as follows:

One count of Unauthorized Entry Of An Inhabited Dwelling- LA. R.S. 14:62.3 and One count of Failure to Appear in Court- CCRP 349.1 (For Possession of Drug Paraphernalia)

Following her arrest, Treva Guidry was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the above charges and her bond is set at $3,000.00.

 

The investigation remains ongoing and further charges are pending.
