Breaux Bridge Man Arrested On Second Degree Murder Charges - 1/11/2013 -

  BREAUX BRIDGE MAN ARRESTED ON ATTEMPTED SECOND DEGREE MURDER CHARGES

(St. Martinville, La.)- On January 10, 2013 Detectives with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office issued an arrest warrant for Attempted Second Degree Murder for suspect Terry Paul Rebert Sr., 31, Breaux Bridge. This arrest warrant stemmed from a January 6, 2013 incident that occurred on Johnson Road in St. Martin Parish. Terry Paul Rebert, Sr. allegedly struck his live-in-girlfriend with a weapon causing injuries to the victim which resulted in her being admitted to an Intensive Care Unit at a local hospital.

Following this incident, a warrant was issued and Terry Paul Rebert Sr., was arrested and charged with Attempted Murder. He was booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on that charge and for a Domestic Abuse Battery charge against the same victim that occurred several months prior to the Attempted Murder that occurred on January 6th. Mr. Rebert's Bond was set at $250,000.00 for the Attempted Murder charge.
