BREAUX BRIDGE WOMAN ARRESTED FOR INTRODUCING CONTRABAND INTO THE ST. MARTIN PARISH CORRECTIONAL CENTER FACILITY

(St. Martinville, La )- On September 30, 2012, Deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office spoiled an attempt to introduce contraband into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center in Breaux Bridge. Deputies reported that during a visitation with her son, Suspect, Charmian Landry, 44, Breaux Bridge, placed several contraband items in the visitation area where it would be later be collected by inmates at the jail.

She was arrested and booked into the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the following charges: La. R.S. 14:402 Introduction of Contraband in to a Penal Institution. The investigation remains ongoing and more arrests may follow.
