Information Sought On Identity Of Vehicle Burglary Suspect

(St. Martinville, LA.)-Investigators with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s office are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a male burglary suspect as seen in the attached photos. On September 23, 2018, Deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a vehicle burglary that occurred overnight in the 1000 block of Earline Drive in Breaux Bridge. Upon further investigation, surveillance footage obtained determined the burglary took place at 2:06 a.m.

The suspect appears to be a white male subject who is seen in the photos wearing a backpack across the front of his chest, and his face is concealed with what appears to be a light colored bandana or shirt that covers his face from the nose down. The suspect was armed with a semi-automatic pistol.

  

On August 31, 2018, Deputies with the St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to several vehicle burglaries in the Poche Bridge area of Breaux Bridge, where a suspect fitting the same description was captured on video surveillance. On August 01, 2018, vehicles on Earline Drive and the surrounding area were also burglarized by two male subjects armed with handguns.
